We are now looking for someone who wants to work with planning electrical maintenance for SSAB's plate mill within the production unit. You will have the chance to work in an exciting industrial environment with a strong focus on safety, environment, and quality. You will serve as technical support for daytime electricians and also for the emergency team working shifts. Location: Oxelösund.

This is a varied position where no day is the same. You will have the chance to work with colleagues in different operations. The group you will belong to consists of ten technicians, of which four are focused on electrical and six on mechanical. We also have nine generalists; 3 focused on electrical and 6 on mechanical. The team also consists of three electricians and six mechanics.

You will work with preparation and planning of maintenance work within electrical and improvements of facilities.

Your main responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and improvement work.
• Analyze disruptions and propose corrective actions.
• Plan maintenance stops in consultation with the operations organization.
• Keep yourself updated daily on the status of the facilities.
• Participate in facility projects.
• Develop proposals for long-term maintenance plans and budgets for your area.

About you

• You are an electrician or technician in electrical with a few years of experience.
• You have an interest in technology and want to work with development and improvements.
• You thrive in a coordinating role with both administrative and practical elements.
• You are a team player and value communication and collaboration.
• You enjoy varied days and new challenges.
